
Three Day Refresher & Motivational Programme Held at Tirukadaiyur, Nagapattinam (June 12–14, 2026)
Valar Aditi Social Finance Private Limited successfully conducted a three day Refresher and Motivational Programme for its staff members from June 12th to 14th, 2026 at Tirukadaiyur, Nagapattinam. The programme aimed to strengthen professional competencies, enhance team spirit, reinforce organisational values, and motivate employees toward higher levels of performance and service excellence.
Day 1 – Marketing, Performance Enhancement & Team Building
The first day focused on Marketing, Performance Management, and Team Building for AMs, BMs, Internal Auditors, and CROs. The Managing Director led the sessions, offering insights on brand building, customer relationship management, and competitive positioning in the financial services sector. Participants explored key marketing frameworks such as the Four Pillars of Marketing, Customer Transaction Analysis, the SPANCO Sales Model, and the Wheel of Selling. Staff members engaged in group discussions and presentations to reinforce learning. A detailed presentation on Loan Against Property (LAP) was delivered by Mr. Jayapandiyan, Area Manager – LAP, covering customer identification, eligibility assessment, legal verification, and valuation processes. Mr. Ananth (HR) conducted a session on recruitment, training, and retention, emphasizing the role of managers in mentoring staff and reducing attrition. The day concluded with a summary of key learnings by Mr. Antonisamy.
Day 2 – Operational Refresher & Capacity Building
The second day strengthened operational knowledge and field execution. Mr. Gopinath (Divisional Manager) led a comprehensive session on Joint Liability Group (JLG) methodology, covering group formation, sourcing, loan processing, disbursement, collection, and record maintenance. He stressed disciplined field practices and achieving 100% collection efficiency. Mrs. Ananthi (Area Manager) presented on Business Loans and Individual Loans, highlighting product features, eligibility, and portfolio expansion opportunities. Mrs. Jayalakshmi (Branch Manager) shared inspiring customer success stories demonstrating the transformative impact of responsible lending. A detailed demonstration of the organisation’s new mobile application, MYCO, was conducted by Mr. Ananth (HR), explaining features such as attendance, field reporting, activity tracking, and real time operational submissions. The Internal Auditor addressed common operational lapses and reinforced adherence to policies and procedures. Mr. Thangapandiyan (CAO) presented insights on MIS, accounts management, and current microfinance sector trends.
Day 3 – Celebration, Recognition & Motivation
The final day began with a prayer service and the ceremonial lighting of the Kuthu Vilakku to mark the Managing Director’s birthday. A vibrant cultural programme showcased staff talents through traditional dances, Kummi Attam, songs, poetry (Kavithai), and humorous performances—strengthening camaraderie and team bonding. Outstanding performers across key operational areas—attendance, collection efficiency, disbursement, portfolio quality, and branch performance—were honoured with gifts and certificates. In his concluding address, the Managing Director encouraged staff to uphold honesty, discipline, and customer centric service to achieve organisational goals and drive future growth. The programme proved highly enriching, equipping staff with renewed motivation, enhanced skills, and a stronger commitment to Valar Aditi’s mission of empowering communities through responsible financial services.
