Advancing Livelihood Through Steady and Progressive Support

R. Ponnazhagu from Thandalai village lives with her husband and two children. During a period of financial difficulty, she joined the Valar Sivan Joint Liability Group under the Avudayarkoil branch of Valar Aditi Social Finance Limited. Her journey began with a ₹20,000 loan, which she used to purchase a milch cow and start a small milk business, helping her support her family while repaying her dues responsibly.
With growing confidence, she accessed a ₹40,000 second loan and established a tea shop. The income from the shop enabled her to manage her children’s educational expenses and continue her repayments on time. Later, she received a ₹80,000 third loan, which she used to expand her tea stall, further strengthening her livelihood and improving her family’s stability.
Recently, Ponnazhagu availed a ₹2,00,000 personal loan, allowing her to establish a flour mill alongside her tea stall. This additional income source has significantly improved her lifestyle and financial security. She expresses her heartfelt gratitude to Valar Aditi Social Finance Limited for supporting her steady progress and empowering her family’s future.
