From Petty Shop to Prosperity Through Steady Support

P. Saritha lives in Karakathikottai village of Pudukkottai district with her husband and children. During a period of financial struggle, her neighbours introduced her to VASFPL, encouraging her to join a Joint Liability Group. She received her first loan of ₹10,000, which she used to start a petty shop, marking the beginning of her livelihood journey.
With disciplined repayment and growing confidence, Saritha accessed a ₹40,000 loan, followed by a ₹1,00,000 loan, which enabled her to establish a grocery store. The income from the shop helped her meet her children’s educational expenses and manage her family’s needs comfortably. Her consistent progress and responsible repayment strengthened her eligibility for further support.
Recently, Saritha received a ₹2,00,000 loan, which she used to expand her grocery store, increasing both stock and customer reach. Today, she lives happily and securely, free from the financial difficulties she once faced. She expresses her heartfelt gratitude to VASFPL for supporting her growth and helping her build a stable livelihood.
